Original Item: Now, these are really scarce; British Leather Sword Frog for use while mounted on the Cavalry Horse. Constructed of sturdy brown leather with two scabbard securing loops and a buckled strap for attaching through two scabbard rings. Identical to the Boer War issue for the P-1899 saber, but with a smaller lower loop for the slimmer P-1908 Blade. The LAST Combat Cavalry Sword used in the British Army. Each comes complete with leather suspension strap from Saddle Harness. These frogs are totally original and dusty still retaining various unit numbers etc. A really rare accessory almost never encountered on the collector's market today.
